Why one map helps

  • Gaps jump outA list hides what you skipped. A map shows the dark patches.
  • Revision becomes recallQuick questions make you remember, not just reread.
  • News meets the syllabusA news story sits right next to the static topic it belongs to.

How to use it each week

  1. Press Revise next for the topic that’s most due.
  2. Read the card, answer the questions, and watch it light up.
  3. Spend ten minutes on whatever looks darkest.

What the map’s colours mean

  • GlowingYou've revised it and answered its questions. Leave it for now.
  • DueRevised before, but it's time to look again before it fades.
  • Not startedStill dark. These are your real gaps.

Plan your week from the map

  1. Monday: count the dark topics in each GS 1 section. Start with the darkest section.
  2. Every day: 10 minutes of whatever is due, then one new topic.
  3. Sunday: look at the whole map again. It should be a little brighter than last week.

Mistakes to avoid

Don'tLight up only the topics you already like, or click through cards without answering.
DoGo after the dark patches first, and let the questions decide what counts as revised.
