What happened
The Catch the Rain campaign and Jal Sanchay Jan Bhagidari (JSJB) initiatives promote nationwide water conservation through rainwater harvesting, groundwater recharge, and community participation. An impact evaluation study estimated that these interventions resulted in 2.43 billion cubic metres of groundwater recharge.
